AGCO’s SMART Top Link is coming soon and available to pre-order at C&O. The precision farming tool attaches to the top of a mounted fertaliser spreader where inbuilt radar sensors will automatically adjust your spreader’s angle as the weight and incline change, preventing areas from being over or under-fertilised, guaranteeing every pass is as even as your first.

The weight change in the spreader during the spreading cycle leads to a change in the angle of the spreading discs, which in turn means a non-confirmative spread pattern. By adjusting the top link in real time, the coefficient of variation can be reduced, meaning the fertiliser is placed where it needs to be.

COMPATIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

ISOBUS – The tractor must be ISOBUS compatible to allow communication between the implement and the terminal.

HYDRAULIC FEATURES – The system requires load-sensing hydraulic lines and have a hydraulic top link installed in the tractor

If you are retrofitting to a current machine, supplied with the product is 1x wiring harness, 1x ECU, 1x hydraulic block, hoses, and connectors to suit and 2x radar sensors with mounting plates.
