MF TH Series with Dyna-CT – Features
- Three models with the new Dyna-CT transmission: MF TH.6534, MF TH.7038 and MF TH.8043, ensure there are lift heights and capacities to meet different customer needs
- Continuous transmission, with extra functionality
- Virtual high- and low-speed operating ranges replace a mechanical transfer box, adding convenience and avoiding the need to stop to change gear when alternating between road and field working modes
- Maximum pushing and pulling power for both low- and high-speed applications
- Automated functions and working modes, increasing efficiency and productivity
- Reduced noise level, thanks to the new design and installation
- 7in terminal as standard, for more precision
Enhanced operating efficiency
The three new models – the TH.6534 Dyna-CT TH.7038 Dyna-CT and TH.8043 Dyna-CT – share the same engines, lift capacities and maximum lift height as other models in the MF TH series, but feature a new high-performance transmission that utilises one pump and two hydraulic motors.
With no mechanical transfer gearbox, the new continuous transmission allows operators to select a suitable speed range on the move, even while pulling or pushing heavy loads. Users simply select either the Hare or Tortoise speed ranges using a button on the in-cab joystick. In Hare mode the full speed range from 0–40kph is available, while Tortoise mode restricts the maximum to 20kph for extra flexibility and precise speed control.
Practical features, tangible benefits
The new MF TH Dyna-CT models come with a host of exclusive new features. Conveniently programmed through the 7in terminal, these include a maximum speed limiter; automatic engine stop & start; cruise control and dynamic tractor management for optimum fuel economy.
The maximum speed limiter allows to set and store a maximum travel speed. Ideal for less experienced users, or operation in areas where travel speeds are restricted, managers can specify a maximum between 1–40kph through the terminal and set a password to prevent unauthorised changes.
The new stop & start function has been introduced to save machine working hours and fuel. The operator can specify a period of inactivity from 1–20 minutes, after which the engine stops, and the telehandler enters stand-by mode.
Cruise control functions have been added for increased operator comfort and convenience. The selected speed and operating status are clearly indicated on the digital dashboard display.
Dynamic tractor management (DTM) optimises efficiency and reduces fuel consumption during transport applications. With this mode activated, the accelerator pedal sets the travel speed, the engine and transmission are automatically managed to keep the engine revs to a minimum as the working load changes.
The MF TH Dyna-CT models also include proven and popular features of existing MF telehandlers including the unique Massey Ferguson PowerControl lever and a powerful 190 litres/min main hydraulic pump for fast loading cycle times.
