Keep your farm safe with AGCO's SMART safety tips

Ensure your farm is a safe place to work

Follow these SMART safety tips from AGCO

On farms of all sizes the safety of workers is always the highest priority. When the farm is also your family home ensuring a safe environment is essential.

Refresh your farm safety knowledge at AGCO’s Smart Safety resources and check out the interactive farm safety map, or visit the Farm Safety Foundation for further advice.

Ensure that safety equipment is present and accessible to all those working and visiting your farm:

  • Protective Clothing – e.g. safety boots, hi-vis vests
  • Vehicle camera – In cab cameras can be retro-fitted to older machines to increase all round-visibility
  • Fire safety stick – quick/easy to use and compact, a fire safety stick can be a cheap and life saving piece of equipment
  • Torches – farming can be a 24/7 job, a quality handheld torch can help prevent trips and accidents when working in the dark

Visit your local C&O Parts department for clothing and equipment to help improve farm safety.

To help keep your equipment safe for use it is important that regular checks are performed to prevent accidents, reduce injuries and minimise downtime. C&O Parts team supply lights, replacement mirrors, vehicle cameras and replacement parts to keep your machines working safely.
